Green areas
Definition:
Landscaped areas, including technical infrastructure and buildings functionally connected with them, covered with vegetation, performing public functions, in particular parks, lawns, promenades, boulevards, botanical, zoological, Jordan and historic gardens, cemeteries, greenery accompanying roads in the development area, squares, historic fortifications, buildings, landfill sites, airports, railway stations and industrial facilities.
Greenery accompanying landfill sites, airports, railway stations and industrial facilities, as well as arboreta, alpine gardens, hill forts and burial mounds (provided they constitute public utility areas), is classified as part of the category of other green areas specified in the statistical form SG-01 Gmina statistics: forestry and environmental protection.
