Rental of premises from gminas' dwelling stock and temporary premises
Definition:
Lease agreements for residential premises concluded in accordance with municipal housing programs and rental principles based on the dwelling stock owned/rented by the gmina.
1. The term 'temporary accommodation' should be understood to mean a room suitable for habitation, with access to a water supply and a toilet, even if these facilities are located outside the building, natural and electric lighting, heating facilities, dry building structures, and the possibility of installing cooking facilities, providing at least 5 m2 of living space per person and, where possible, situated in the same or a nearby locality where the persons being rehoused previously resided.
2. A social housing tenancy agreement is concluded for a fixed term and may be entered into with a person who has no legal title to the premises and whose household income does not exceed the amount specified in a resolution of the municipal council adopted on the basis of the above Act. The rent for social housing may not exceed half the lowest rent applicable to the gminas' dwelling stock. These are premises meeting statutory requirements which the local authority has designated for letting or subletting under the social housing scheme.
