Median of prices per 1 m2 of residential premises


Definition:

Median value in an ascending or descending ordered set of prices per 1 m2 of residential premises sold during a given period and in a given area. It indicates that half of the prices per 1 m2 of residential premises are lower than the median value, while the other half are higher.



Calculations take into account data on market transactions, i.e. sales on the free market (with some exclusions, e.g. sales between related parties), sale without a tender procedure and sale under a tender procedure.
