Persons injured in accidents at work on private farms in agriculture
Definition:
An accident at agricultural work is defined as a sudden event caused by an external factor which occurred while performing activities related to agricultural activity or in connection with the performance of such activities:
1) on the agricultural holding run by the insured person or in which they permanently work, or in a household directly connected with that agricultural holding; or
2) while the insured person is travelling from their place of residence to the agricultural holding referred to in point 1, or while returning; or
3) while performing, outside the agricultural holding referred to in point 1, routine activities related to agricultural activity or in connection with the performance of such activities; or
4) while travelling to the place where the activities referred to in point 3 are performed, or while returning. This applies to accidents in respect of which one-off compensation has been granted.
