Forests owned by:

a) the State Treasury - managed and utilised temporarily or perpetually by:

• the State Forests National Forest Holding (abbreviated as the State Forests), supervised by the minister competent for the environment,
• nature protection units (national parks),
• organisational units supervised by different ministers, voivodes, gminas or municipal associations, and the National Support Centre for Agriculture (until 31 August 2017 — the Agricultural Property Agency),
• other legal persons and organisational units without legal personality as well as natural persons,

b) gminas (of which gminas which are also cities with powiat status),

c) other public units.
