Definition:
Relation of total energy obtained from transformation (gross production) to energy contained in input and energy used for transformation consumption purposes (external energy and transformation). It is calculated using the formula: Sb = E : ( Ew + Ep ) x 100 [%], where: Sb - is gross transformation efficiency, E - energy obtained (produced) in transformation (gross energy), [GJ], Ew - energy contained in all commodities used for transformation input [GJ], Ep - is total energy of commodities used for energy transformation consumption [GJ].
