Quantitative consumption of foodstuffs in households per person


Definition:

The consumption of foodstuffs (of which non-alcoholic beverages) in households is presented in natural unit measures (kg, l, unit).



The consumption od foodstuffs covers the products purchased by cash, also using debt or credit or credit card, on credit, received free-of-charge and taken from the own business activity (natural consumption). The moment of consumption of foodstuffs is defined as the moment of gaining them by the household. Data of quantitative consumption does not cover food consumed in catering services (canteens at workplaces, bars, restaurants etc.).
