Total atmospheric precipitation


Definition:

The amount of rainfall at a given time, expressed in millimeters (daily, monthly, annual sum), i.e. the layer of water that has fallen (also in the form of solid rainfall) on a given area; 1 mm of precipitation corresponds to 1 liter of water for an area of 1 m2.
