Childbirths


Definition:

The expulsion of the fetus and placenta from the uterus terminating the pregnancy. Every newborn baby is counted in statistics
as a separate birth. As delivery is considered a single birth, which resulted in one baby is born, as well as multiple deliveries, when two or more infants are born – regardless of whether the baby is born alive or death (foethal death).
