Stillborn newborns


Definition:

A newborn baby who is not breathing or showing any other signs of life, such as heartbeat, umbilical cord pulsation or contractions of skeletal muscles. Dead fetuses are also included here, provided that the expulsion or removal from the mother's body occurs after the 22nd week of pregnancy or the fetus weighs at least 500 g.
