The Blood Donation Centers


Definition:

Organizational units of the public blood service, conducted in the form of an independent public health care institution, whose purpose is to conduct activities in the field of blood donation and blood therapy. Their tasks include the collection, preparation and dispensing of blood and its components to medicinal entities, as well as the supply of blood products, recombinant coagulation factor concentrates, desmopressin and other medicinal products.
