Social renting


Definition:

A place suitable for settlement owing to equipment and technical condition, which surface of rooms per household member - i.e. one person in the case of residence of at least two people - cannot be smaller than 5 m2, and in the case of one-person household – 10 m2, with a possible lower standard of the dwelling.



The social premises rental contract shall be concluded for a fixed period, and may me concluded with a person who has not legal tittle to the premisses and whose household incomes do not exceed the amount specified in the resolution of the gmina council adopted on the basis of the above Act. The rent price for social premises cannot exceed the half of the lowest rent price binding in municipal dwelling stocks. These are dwellings meeting the statutory requirements that the gmina allocated for rent or sublease within a social rental.
