Price relations in agriculture


Definition:

The profitability degree of sales of a given agricultural product on particular market (in procurement - on marketplace) during the surveyed period.



Relations of profitability of pigs fattening - changes in profitability of this production direction. They are compiled as ratio of procurement prices of pigs for slaughter (per kg) to procurement and marketplace prices received by farmers of selected agricultural products.

Relations between marketplace prices received by farmers and procurement prices - information how many times an average marketplace price of the agricultural product is higher (or lower) than its procurement price.They are computed as the relation of marketplace price received by farmers and procurement price of a selected agricultural product.
