Petition


Definition:

A call addressed to a public authority as well as to an organization or a social institution in connection with its commissioned tasks in the field of public administration.



The subject of the petition may be a request, in particular, to change the law, make a decision or other action in a case involving the petitioner, collective life or values which require special protection in the name of common good, falling within the scope of the petitioner's tasks and competences.
