Auxiliary unit


Definition:

Local self-government community of the inhabitants of part of the municipality, without legal personality. An auxiliary unit is established by the municipality council by way of a resolution, after consultation with the inhabitants or at their initiative. The organisation and the range of activity of an auxiliary unit are defined by the municipality council in a separate statute, after consultation with the inhabitants.
