Transport of goods using inland waterways transport vessels which is undertaken on inland waterways and sea.

The volume of transport of goods is calculated as the sum of the gross weight of consignments:

- sent by Polish carriers on the Polish territory and into foreign countries for the carriage by waterways,

- received by Polish carriers from other modes of transport for further transport by waterways.
