Horticultural production


Definition:

Horticultural production includes:

1. Fruit production from fruit trees in orchards (such as: apple trees, pear trees, plum trees, sour cherry trees, sweet cherry trees and others, i.e. peach trees, apricot trees and walnuts trees), fruit production from berry plantations and fruit bushes in orchards (such as: raspberries including thorn-free blackberries, currants: black and coloured, gooseberries, highbush blueberries, chokeberries, grapes, hazelnuts, cranberries and others) and strawberry production (including wild strawberry production).

2. Production of vegetables in open field as well as cultivated (temporarily or permanently during the given vegetation season) under low (less than 1.5 m) plastic foil.

3. Production of vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants and strawberries (including wild strawberries) cultivated under protective high or accessible cover, i.e.: in greenhouses, plastic tunnels (minimum 1.5 m in the top) and frames.
