Variety of the cultivation plants' species


Definition:

Variety – refers to a group of plants within the lowest known botanical taxonomic (systematic) unit, which:

a) is defined based on its expressed characteristics resulting from a specific genotype or combination of genotypes,

b) differs from any other group of plants by at least one of its expressed characteristics (in the case of fruit trees and bushes, for example: taste of the fruit, shape, color, ripening time, disease resistance),

c) is stable and remains unchanged following vegetative propagation.
