Adaptation the library for the blind and partially-sighted person


Definition:

Library facilities enabling the blind and partially sighted use of the library collection.



Library makes it easier access to the using of library resources by persons with visually impaired and partially sighted, for example, computer stations with Internet access, equipped with software screen reader type with a speech synthesizer, computer workstations equipped with software magnifying the screen's contents, equipped with the so-called "Braille ruler", magnifiers electronic, screen enlargers giving the possibility of adjusting the brightness and contrast of the image, etc.
