Irrigated area of agricultural land


Definition:

The maximum area of agricultural land in good agricultural condition that could be irrigated using the equipment available to the farm and the water available on the farm under average conditions. On farms with cultivated area under the available covers: vegetables, strawberries, wild strawberries, flowers and ornamental plants, permanent crops and other crops, the area that could be irrigated can not be smaller than the sum of the area of these crops.
