Heat from renewable fuels


Definition:

heat generated in the combustion of solid biomass (firewood, charcoal, wood waste, energy crops, waste from agriculture and horticulture, organic fraction of municipal solid waste, biodegradable industrial waste), liquid fuels from biomass (bioethanol, biodiesel, natural vegetable oils ) and biogas (landfill wastes, wastewater treatment plants, and other agricultural biogas).
