Work undertaken by persons aged 16 years or more, which lasted at least 1 hour during the week preceding the survey (as reference week is regarded period of 7 days - Monday till Sunday).

Regards any work for pay or profit (hired employment, self-employment including farming) as well as unpaid work (as helping family member). Regards also situations when a person has a job but temporarily is absent (e.g. due to holiday, illness, maternity leave, etc.).
