Outflow

Definition:

Number of people who left administrative unit moving to other places in the country in a given period.

In the current migration statistics for permanent residence based on administrative data sources, the outflow from the administrative unit represents the number of people who registered in other units for permanent residence and were previously registered in this unit.
The term "outflow" usually refers to internal migration. In a broader sense outflow are also departures abroad (emigration).
