Legal at risk poverty rate
Definition:
Percentage of persons in households where the level of expenditures (including a value of free-of-charge articles as well as natural consumption) was lower than the legal poverty risk threshold, i.e. the amount which, according to the Law on Social Assistance, provides eligibility for a monetary benefit from social assistance.
Formerly referred to as: "Legal at risk poverty rate" or "Legal poverty rate".
The rate is calculated on a basis of the Household Budget Survey.
