Relative at risk poverty rate


Definition:

Percentage of persons in households where the level of expenditures (including a value of free-of-charge articles as well as natural consumption) was lower than the relative poverty risk threshold, adopted at 50% mean monthly expenditures at the level of all households estimated with the use of the so-called original OECD equivalence scale.



Formerly referred to as: "Relative poverty incidence rate" or "Relative poverty risk rate".

The rate is calculated on a basis of the Household Budget Survey.
