Green areas


Definition:

Areas including technical infrastructure and buildings functionally associated with them, covered with vegetation, located in the village of dense buildings or cities, used for the aesthetic, recreational, therapeutic or shielding purposes, in particular parks, lawns, promenades, boulevards, botanical and zoological gardens, children's playgrounds, historic garden, cemeteries, green areas located near roads in the build up areas, squares, historic fortifications, buildings, landfill sites, airports, railway stations and industrial buildings.



SG-01 statistical questionnaire contains category other green areas that includes the greenery located near landfill sites, airports, railway and industrial buildings (if made available to public use).
