Coefficient of convegence

Definition:

The ratio of the variation of the studied phenomenon, which was not explained by the regression function variables, to the total variability of the dependent variable Y. The convergence coefficient value is within the range [0; 1], where the value closer to zero indicates a more accurate fit of the regression function to the empirical data since it determines what part of the variation of Y is not explained by the variation of the variable X.
