Tending


Definition:

Forest breeding work connected with tending soils and tree stands, i.e. tilling the soil, weeding of crops, introducing undergrowth, improvement cutting and improving the condition of individual trees (pruning, etc), as well as maintaining the soil in black fallow in fast growing tree plantations.
