Acandidate applying for the mandate or authority


Definition:

The person notified and the applicant for the mandate or office (in a given constituency), running from the electoral list or the election committee, which has the written support of the required number of voters entitled to vote or notified by them, and reported and registered by the election committee in the relevant election commission of the appropriate location and extent of the election, after notifying the proper electoral commission of the appointment or creation of the electoral committee .



A candidate may be a person who satisfies the formal requirements: has the right to be elected, consented on writing to running in the election and fulfils other legal requirements.
