Maximum electrical capacity of thermal plants


Definition:

Maximal stable capacity that the thermal plant is able to work continuously during at least 15 hours, at good technical state of its devices, at normal conditions. Good technical state of devices and normal conditions are understood as: - all devices and installation of the plant are completely efficient and can continuously operate with full power and in accordance with actual rules, regardless obtained efficiency; - fuel is available at necessary quantity and its quality is not worse than boundary, permissible by the designer; - conditions of water supply (quantity, temperature, purity) are normal; - plant's work is subject to all technical limits due to the system of coal handling, ash removal , cooling; - production is not limited with constant or temporary incapacity of network devices or customers' needs.
