Position measure


Definition:

Measures describing the distribution of the statistical feature to be calculated on the basis of the values of the characteristics of one or more units of a statistical population occupying a particular position in the surveyed population, for example, the distance between the largest and the smallest observed characteristic values, or quantiles.
