Simple random sampling with replacement

Simple random sampling, in which we give each statistical unit the same probability of getting into the sample. The unit once randomly selected for the study participates in the further draw (hence the frequent name of the draw with replacement). The whole theory of classical statistical inference is based on this scheme of sampling.
The model of such a sampling scheme can be the drawing of balls from the ballot box and putting them back.
