Sample size

The number of statistical units included in the study set by the researcher. If the study covers the entire population of the general units, we call them a census, otherwise it is a partial examination, which in practice most often due to the costs and time of the examination takes place. In the case of random sampling schemes, the criteria for determining the sample size are the absolute standard error of estimation or the relative standard error of estimation.
