Business tendency


Definition:

The overall economy indicators that characterize the state of economy of a country or a market, allowing to assess the tendencies of development; economic situation is under the influence of indices depending on business cycle as well as on other factors: regular (e.g. seasonal fluctuations of demand and supply) and irregular (e.g. good or bad crops in agriculture, increase or decrease of demand on certain goods on domestic or foreign market, natural disasters).
