Specialist classes


Definition:

Classes organised for pupils/students with developmental disorders and deviations or specific learning difficulties, with competence deficits and language disorders or difficulties in social functioning. The specialist classes include: corrective and compensatory classes, speech therapy classes, classes developing emotional and social competencies and other kinds of therapeutic classes.



In justified cases and with the approval the school governing body, specialist classes can be provided in a form of individual instruction. They are conducted by teachers, group tutors and specialists with qualifications appropriate to the type of classes.
