Social Assistance Centre


Definition:

An organisational unit in gmina which has the capacity to carry out social care duties (its own duties as well as duties delegated by government administration).



The number of social workers it employs is in proportion to the population of the community; one worker per 2000 people, but no fewer than three workers in total.
