Universal Mobile Telecommunications System


Definition:

Universal Mobile Telecommunications System one of third-generation (3G) mobile telecommunications systems.



It enables unlimited radio access to the global telecommunications infrastructure via the ground or satellite segment for both stationary and mobile users. It is supossed to integrate all telecommunications systems (ICT, radio and television).
