Fabric filter


Definition:

Dust collecting units, which performance relies on filtration of gas through a filter medium made of different materials such as cotton, wool, synthetic, e.g. teflon, or glass-fiber, on which particulate pollutants are filtering. They belong to the most efficient dust collectors. They are able to remove dust particulates of size smaller than 0,5 micrometer.
