Electrostatic dust precipitators (ESP)

Definition:

Cleaning facilities using the electrostatic force phenomenon. In these units gas with particulate pollution is ionized in strong electrostatic field. Grains of dust are attracted by a collecting electrode, where they coagulate (bond) and when shaken, they drop to dust container.

These devices are characterized by high effectiveness of operation (more than 99.5%) and low resistance of flow, even for large volumes of gases. Electro filters are used for dedusting large volumes of gases, e.g. exhaust gases from power boilers, in cement plants, in the production of metal and metal products, in the production of chemical products.
