Seagoing vessels


Definition:
Floating marine structure with one or more surface displacement hulls. Hydrofoil, air cushion vehicles (hovercraft), catamarans (high speed craft), oil rigs, light vessels and seagoing barges are included. Vessels, which navigate exclusively in inland waterways or in waters within, or closely adjacent to, sheltered waters or areas where port regulations apply, are excluded.
