Non-observed economy


Definition:

The groups of economic activities most likely to be non-observed or missed because of deficiences in the basic statistical data collection programme.



These non-observed or missed activities are defined as as problem areas include the following activities: hidden activity, illegal activity, the informal sector activity, non-observed activity of households for their own use.
