mWIG40


Definition:
Warsaw Stock Exchange Index mWIG40 is a price index, replacing the Warsaw Stock Exchange Index MIDWIG (existing until March 2007), which covers middle-sized companies in terms of the stock exchange value and turnover. It is calculated on the basis of the turnover value and prices of shares of 40 companies. The initial level of the index on 31 XII 1997 was 1000 points.
