Special Area of Conservationof Habitats (SAC)


Definition:

Special Areas of Conservation of Habitats are the areas specified pursuant to the EU regulations for the purpose of permanent preservation of natural habitats or populations of endangered species of plants or animals or for the purpose of restoration of a proper condition of natural habitats or proper condition of protection of these species.
