Special Protection Areaof Birds (SPA)


Definition:

Special Protection Area of Birds are the areas specified pursuant to the EU regulations on protection of populations of wild birds of one or more species, where the birds enjoy favourable conditions throughout their entire lifecycle, at any period or stage of their growth.
