Social assistance house


Definition:

A centre providing welfare, nursing, support and educational services at a level conforming to the standard in force, designed for people requiring 24 hour care due to their age, illness or disability, unable to live independently in everyday life.



These facilities are aimed at: 1) aged persons, 2) people chronically ill with somatic disorders, 3) people with chronic mental diseases, 4) mentally retarded adults, 5) children and young people, 6) physically handicapped people, 7) dependent on alcohol people.
