Remedial section


Definition:

A section organised in a mainstream school to provide intensive educational and pedagogical support in helping pupils with considerable deficiencies in knowledge and skills to achieve the goals resulting from the core curriculum for a given educational level. Remedial sections should consist of 10-15 pupils.
