Therapeutic section


Definition:

A class organised for pupils/students who require adjusting the organisation and teaching process as well as long-term specialist support due to difficulties in functioning at school or in the section resulting from developmental disorders or health condition, and who obtained an opinion on the need for this form of support issued by a counselling and guidance centre.



Classes in therapeutic sections are conducted by competent teachers.

Teaching is based on the curricula implemented in a given school, adjusting the methods and forms of their implementation to the individual developmental and educational needs and psychological and physical abilities of pupils.

The number of pupils cannot exceed 15.
