Dairy cows


Definition:
Female of domestic cattle (of the Bos taurus Bubalus bubalis and Beefalo) aged 2 years and over and younger that has already had young and which due to its breed or particular traits is being maintained solely or to a significant degree to produce milk designated for human consumption or for the production of dairy products. Also includes dairy cows that after the fattening period will be slaughtered.
