Working time on agricultural holding (farm)


Definition:

Time in the number of hours or a part of full-time working time or a number of day's work units worked on agricultural farm during the last 12 months preceding the survey period by family or paid workers, regardless whether it was the main or additional job.



In Poland, the number of 2120 working hours per year, i.e. 265 working days of 8 working hours each, was adopted as the equivalent of full-time work.
Average working time per year on the holding:

- 0 - 530 hours means less than 1 of full-time work (e.g. work was performed for a period of up to 3 months per year),

- 531 - 1060 hours means at least 1 but less than 1 of full-time work (e.g. work was performed for a period from 3 to 6 months per year, inclusive),

- 1061 - 1590 hours means at least 1 but less than 3 of full-time work (e.g. work was performed for a period from 6 to 9 months per year, inclusive),

- 1591 - 2119 hours means at least 3 but less than 1 full-time work (e.g. work was performed for a period from 9 to 12 months per year, inclusive),

- 2120 hours and more means 1 full-time work (e.g. work was performed for a period of 12 months per year).
