On the last day of March 2026, there were 1 152.7 thousand foreigners performing work in Poland, i.e. 8.0% (85.7 thousand) more than at the end of March 2025. Compared with 28 February 2026, their number increased by 1.8% (20.2 thousand).
As at 31 March 2026, among foreigners performing work in Poland, men constituted the majority. Their share was 59.9% ‒ the same as at the end of March 2025 and at the end of February 2026.
Compared with the end of March 2025, the number of women increased by 7.8% and the number of men – by 8.2%. Compared with 28 February 2026, the number of women increased by 1.6% and the number of men increased by 1.9%.
As at the end of March 2026, among foreigners performing work 38.0% (437.7 thousand) worked only under contracts of mandate and related contracts. Compared with 31 March 2025, there was an increase of 8.0% in the number of foreigners working under contracts of mandate and related contracts and compared with 28 February 2026 – an increase of 2.0%.
